Privacy

miaolay measures how its rooms are explored without advertising identifiers, browser fingerprints, or a permanent analytics identity.

Only coarse, useful traces.

The analytics layer can receive page and meaningful interaction events, coarse device and browser families, viewport buckets, language, theme, reduced-motion state, referrer host, campaign labels, and country or first-level region derived at the edge.

The application does not store raw IP addresses, precise location, full referrer URLs, canvas or audio fingerprints, installed fonts, advertising identifiers, or a permanent cross-session analytics ID.

To understand the paths, not identify the visitor.

Events are used to understand which worlds lead somewhere, whether the Lenz handoff completes, and where heavy WebGL pages need a gentler quality setting. The planned first-party collector runs at analytics.miaolay.com on Cloudflare Workers and stores normalized rows in Cloudflare D1.

Raw event rows are configured for a 180-day retention window. Longer-lived daily aggregates contain counts rather than raw visits. No analytics data is exposed as a public page.

Global Privacy Control, Do Not Track, and a local opt-out are respected.

Analytics sends nothing when Global Privacy Control is enabled, when Do Not Track is set to 1, or when the local opt-out below is active. The preference is stored only as miaolay:analytics = off on this device.

This notice describes the application analytics layer. It does not make unverified legal claims about consent requirements in every jurisdiction; any future cookies or persistent identifiers require a separate review before collection begins.
